Diabetes and heart disease

Diabetes is linked to cardiovascular diseases, Diabetes is a common disease(as we have already discussed) and it can be seen in almost every human at an average age of forty, and today about 70-75 percentage death in cardiovascular disease account for diabetic patients, A study says that diabetes doubles the heart problem in men and triples the effect in women. Long duration diabetes and in aged people it causes silent heart attack and they have increased chance of death. And in studies it is observed that diabetes changes the chemical composition of some substances in the blood vessels and this leads to constriction of the blood vessels and it is called hardening of arteries, so people with diabetes have high chances of heart attack and the only way to avoid this is prevention. This can be prevented by exercise, reducing fat levels, and also by quitting smoking, so people with diabetes can take precautions to live longer.
